The ACLU of Kansas is excited to invite you to the Medical Marijuana Day of Action on January 23 at 10:00 a.m. at the State Capitol in Topeka, second floor, north wing.
You’ll hear from speakers about the impact marijuana criminalization has had on our communities, and we’ll prepare you to talk to your lawmaker about the issue.
We believe that no one should face criminal penalties for pursuing the medical care they need, especially when determined by their medical providers and personal experiences. At the day of action, we’ll encourage lawmakers to respond to the voices of constituents like you and pass equitable medical marijuana legislation that centers the needs of Kansans.
We are counting on your support to make this day a success. Your participation can make a difference and ensure that every Kansan has access to the medical care that is their right.
