OVERLAND PARK, KS - On Sunday, October 1, the American Civil Liberties Union will host a People Power event at the Lied Center of Kansas to launch a new national voting rights campaign called “Let People Vote.” The event will feature top ACLU experts who will shed light on current issues surrounding voting rights, a panel discussion on President Trump’s controversial voting commission led by Sec. Kobach, and the unveiling of an action plan to mobilize Kansans—and people across the nation—to organize within their communities to protect and expand the fundamental right to vote.
